What is Lighthouse?

Children Center Lighthouse attempts to provide an alternative for life on the streets. Children who come here have to face many challenges daily. They suffer from malnutrition and neglect. Many are from broken homes, others have problems with stepparents, still others live with parents who are unemployed or struggling with addictions. Even some children are addicted.

We firmly believe that every child needs attention and we hope to give them a better chance at succeeding in life.

The center offers:

- Love, care and attention regardless of the child's nationality (both Estonian and Russian kids are welcome)

- One hot meal a day

Possibilities to take care of personal hygiene

- Indoor activities (Bible studies, art classes, different classes, computer games). In the fall there will be music lessons and a class on the Estonian language, which will help Russians integrate into the society.

- Field trips (museums, the zoo, etc.)

- Outings (picnics, grill-outs, orienteering games, treasure hunts, riding a boat, days on the beach, etc.)

- Sports activities

- Summer Camps
